The brief for the project was simple 'design innovation' and with that we had to create something unique, and innovative. We were set the topic 'How do we view each other' and this is my final solution. While researching for this project I found out that it takes just 30 seconds to gain a lasting impression of someone, I wanted to create something that would grab an audience's attention and teach them to take a second look at things. By using colour the user would be given a two pairs of 3D glasses, one blue labelled 'wear me first', and one red labelled 'wear me second' by wearing the blue glasses, the blue text is cancelled out so you can read the red/orange text clearly, and vice versa with the red. I also created an app that would do the same thing, eliminating the need for glasses.

But if you have an old pair or red/blue 3D glasses feel free to try it out right now, make sure you look through the blue lens first, then the red. These versions have been created just for screen basis.
Put on your 3D glasses and look through the blue lens first, followed by the red for the full effect.
Through the use of the app the design can be applied in situation where 3D glasses wouldn't be at hand e.g. in newspapers, or on billboards, the idea is the viewer downloads an app and this adds a simple filter in the camera screen so the viewer can read each part of the message.
